About this Act
An Act to provide for the alteration of boundaries of the States of Andhra Pradesh and Madras and for matters connected therewith.
(1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh and Madras
(Alteration of Boundaries) Act, 1959.
(2) It shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
