About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to Civil Courts in Bengal, the North-Western Provinces and Assam.
Subject to the superintendence of the High Court, the District
Judge shall have administrative control over all the Civil Courts under this Act within the local limits of
his jurisdiction.
