Removal of noxious vegetation.
About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the administration of cantonments with a view to impart greater democratisation, improvement of their financial base to make provisions for developmental activities and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Chief Executive Officer may, by notice in writing,
require the owner, lessee, or occupier of any land in the cantonment to clear away and remove any thick
or noxious vegetation or undergrowth which appears to him to be injurious to health or offensive to
persons residing in the neighbourhood.
