Power to fix rates and charges.
About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the administration of cantonments with a view to impart greater democratisation, improvement of their financial base to make provisions for developmental activities and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
A Board may fix the charges to be made for the
establishment by them or through their agency or communications from, and connections with, mains, or
pipes for the supply of water, or gas, or for meters or other appliances for measuring the quantity, or
testing the quantity thereof supplied, and may levy such charges accordingly.
