Cantonment employee to be deemed a public servant.
About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the administration of cantonments with a view to impart greater democratisation, improvement of their financial base to make provisions for developmental activities and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
Every officer or employee, permanent
or temporary of a Board shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the
Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860) and clause (c) of section 2 of the Prevention of Corruption Act,
1988 (49 of 1988).
