Status of census authorities as public servants.
About this Act
An Act to provide for certain matters in connection with the taking of census.
The Census Commissioner, all 1
[Directors of
Census Operations] and all census-officers shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of
the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).
