About this Act
An Act to give effect to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Chairperson, Directors, officers and other employees of the
National Authority or any other person exercising any powers or discharging any functions under this Act
shall be deemed to be the public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code
(45 of 1860).
