About this Act
An Act to provide for the establishment of a Coastal Aquaculture Authority for regulating the activities connected with coastal aquaculture in the coastal areas and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
(1) This Act may be called the Coastal Aquaculture Authority
Act, 2005.
(2) Provisions of section 27 shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
