About this Act
An Act to amend and consolidate the laws relating to social security with the goal to extend social security to all employees and workers either in the organised or unorganised or any other sectors and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
Every woman entitled to maternity benefit under this Chapter shall
also be entitled to receive from her employer a medical bonus of three thousand five hundred rupees or such
amount as may be notified by the Central Government, if no pre-natal confinement and post-natal care is
provided for by the employer free of charge.
