Sanction for prosecution for offence.

About this Act
An Act to facilitate the collection of statistics on economic, demographic, social, scientific and environmental aspects, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
No prosecution for an offence committed by any
informant shall be instituted except by or with the sanction of the statistics officer, and no prosecution
for an offence committed by persons other than informants shall be instituted except by or with the
consent of the appropriate Government.
