Administrative powers of Chairperson.
About this Act
An Act to provide, keeping in view of the economic development of the country, for the establishment of a Commission to prevent practices having adverse effect on competition, to promote and sustain competition in markets, to protect the interests of consumers and to ensure freedom of trade carried on by other participants in markets, in India, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
1[13. Administrative powers of Chairperson.--The Chairperson shall have the powers of general
superintendence, direction and control in respect of all administrative matters of the Commission:
Provided that the Chairperson may delegate such of his powers relating to administrative matters of the Commission, as he may think fit, to any other Member or officer of the Commission.]
