Power of Central Government to give directions.
About this Act
An Act to provide for surveillance, inspection, operation and maintenance of the specified dam for prevention of dam failure related disasters and to provide for institutional mechanism to ensure their safe functioning and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Central Government may give such
directions, as it may consider necessary, to the State Government where that Government is the owner
of the specified dam and to the owner of a specified dam in any other case for the effective
implementation of the provisions of this Act.
