Resignation of Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the Municipal Government of Delhi.
(1) The Mayor may, by writing under his hand
addressed to the Deputy Mayor and delivered to the 1[Municipal Secretary], resign his office.
(2) The Deputy Mayor may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Mayor and delivered to the 1[Municipal Secretary], resign his office.
(3) A resignation under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) shall take effect from the date on which it is delivered.
(2) The Deputy Mayor may, by writing under his hand addressed to the Mayor and delivered to the 1[Municipal Secretary], resign his office.
(3) A resignation under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) shall take effect from the date on which it is delivered.
