Presiding officers at meetings of the Standing and other committees.

About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the Municipal Government of Delhi.
(1) The Chairman or in
his absence the Deputy Chairman shall preside at every meeting of the Standing Committee, the 1[Wards
Committee] or any other committee of the Corporation.
(2) In the absence of the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman from any meeting the members of any such committee shall choose one 2[from amongst the councillors] to preside over the meeting.
