About this Act
An Act to enable effect to be given to certain international Conventions done at Geneva on the twelfth day of August, 1949, to which India is a party, and for purposes connected therewith.
The Army Act, 1950 (46 of 1950), the Air Force
Act, 1950 (45 of 1950), or the Navy Act, 1957 (62 of 1957), relating to trial by court-martial of persons
who commit civil offences shall have effect for the purposes of the jurisdiction of courts-martial as if this
Chapter had not been passed.
