About this Act
An Act to provide for the alteration of boundaries of the States of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and for matters connected therewith.
(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of
this Act, the President may, by notified order, do anything, not inconsistent with such provisions which
appears to him to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing the difficulty.
(2) Every order made under this section shall be laid before each House of Parliament.
