Grant of degrees, etc., by Institute.

About this Act
An Act to declare the institution known as the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy to be an institution of national importance and to provide for its incorporation and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto
Notwithstanding anything in the University Grants
Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956) or in any other law for the time being in force, the Institute shall
have power to grant degrees and other academic distinctions and titles under this Act.
