Grants and loans by the Central Government.
The Inland Waterways Authority of India Act, 1985
About this Act
An Act to provide for the constitution of an Authority for the regulation and development of inland waterways for purposes of shipping and navigation and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Central Government may, after due
appropriation made by Parliament by law in this behalf, make to the Authority grants and loans of such
sums of money as that Government may consider necessary.
