Oath or affirmation by members.
The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019
About this Act
An Act to provide for the reorganisation of the existing State of Jammu and Kashmir and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
Every member of the Legislative Assembly shall, before
taking his seat, make and subscribe before the Lieutenant Governor of the said Union territory, or
some person appointed in that behalf by him, an oath or affirmation according to the form set out for
the purpose in the Fourth Schedule of this Act.
