About this Act
An Act to provide for the reorganisation of the existing State of Jammu and Kashmir and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
On and from the appointed day, in section 15
of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956, in clause (a), for the words “Jammu and Kashmir” the words
“Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union territory of Ladakh” shall be substituted.
