An Act to regulate the lotteries and to provide for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
(1) This Act may be called the Lotteries (Regulation)
Act, 1998.
(2) It extends to the whole of India.
(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2nd day of October, 1997.
