About this Act
An Act to provide for the constitution and organisation of Panchayats as units of local self-Government in the rural areas of Manipur and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
A Gram Panchayat shall have powers to do all acts
necessary for or incidental to the carrying out the functions entrusted assigned or delegated to it and, in
particular, and without prejudice to the foregoing powers, to exercise all powers specified under this Act.
