About this Act
An Act to regulate the employment of women in certain establishments for certain periods before and after child-birth and to provide for maternity benefit and certain other benefits.
An abstract of the provisions of this
Act and the rules made thereunder in the language or languages of the locality shall be exhibited in a
conspicuous place by the employer in every part of the establishment in which women are employed.
