About this Act
An Act to establish and incorporate in University at the national level mainly to promote and develop Urdu language and to import vocational and technical education in Urdu medium through conventional teaching and distance education system and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The objects of the University shall be to promote and develop Urdu
language; to impart education and training in vocational and technical subjects through the medium of
Urdu; to provide wider access to people desirous of pursuing programmes of higher education and
training in Urdu medium through teaching on the Campus as well as at a distance and to provide focus on
women education.
