Local authorities to assist.
The Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978
About this Act
An Act to provide for the construction of works relating to metro railways in the metropolitan cities and for matters connected therewith.
Every local authority shall render such help and assistance and
furnish such information to the metro railway administration as that administration may require for
discharging its functions and shall make available to the said administration for inspection and
examination such records, maps, plans and other documents as may be necessary for the discharge of
such functions.
