The Multimodal Transportation of Goods Act, 1993
About this Act
An Act to provide for the regulation of the multimodal transportation of goods, from any place in India to a place outside India, on the basis of a multimodal transport contract and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette,
direct that any power exercisable by it under this Act, except the power under section 30, shall, in such
circumstances and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified therein, be exercisable also by
such officer or authority as may be specified in the notification.
