About this Act
An Act to establish and incorporate the National Institute of Fashion Technology for the promotion and development of education and research in fashion technology and for matters connected therewithand incidental thereto.
(1) This Act may be called the National Institute of Fashion
Technology Act, 2006.
(2) It shall come into force on such date 1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act.
