About this Act
An Act to provide for the establishment of a National Jute Board for the development of the cultivation, manufacture and marketing of jute and jute products and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
All officers and employees of the
Board shall, while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or of any rule or
regulation made thereunder, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the
Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).
