About this Act
An Act to provide for development and regulation of mineral resources in the territorial waters, continental shelf, exclusive economic zone and other maritime zones of India and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
No prosecution for an offence
committed under t
his Act shall be instituted except with the previous sanction of the Central Government
or such officer or authorit
y as may be authorised by the Ce
ntral Government, by order in writing in this
behalf.
