Cognizance of offence committed by Protection Officer.

About this Act
An Act to provide for more effective protection of the rights of women guaranteed under the Constitution who are victims of violence of any kind occurring within the family and formatters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
No prosecution or other legal
proceeding shall lie against the Protection Officer unless a complaint is filed with the previous sanction of
the State Government or an officer authorised by it in this behalf.
