Title, extent and commencement.
The Provincial Small Cause Courts Act, 1887
About this Act
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to Courts of Small Causes established beyond the Presidency-towns.
(1) This Act may be called the Provincial Small Cause Courts
Act, 1887.
(2) It extends to the whole of India except 1[the territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in Part B States]; and
(3) It shall come into force on the first day of July, 1887.
