Compensation for transfer not payable.
The Public Sector Iron and Steel Companies (Restructuring) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1978
About this Act
An Act to provide for restructuring of the iron and steel companies in the public sector so as to secure better management and greater efficiency in their working and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Industrial
Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), or in any other law for the time being in force, the transfer of services of
any officer or other employee shall not entitle such officer or other employee to any compensation under
that Act or under any other law for the time being in force and no claim for such compensation shall be
entertained by any court, tribunal or other authority.
