About this Act
An Act to declare the Salar Jung Museum together with the Salar Jung Library at Hyderabad to be an institution of national importance and to provide for its administration and certain other connected matters.
All officers and employees of the
Board shall, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or of any rule or
regulation made thereunder, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the
Indian Penal Code (45 of 1866).
