About this Act

An Act to declare the institution known as "Visva-Bharati" to be an institution of national importance and to provide for its functioning as a unitary teaching and residential university.

All sections
    Every student of the University 1[other than a student of its Lok Siksha Samsad (People's Education Council)] shall reside in a 2[Chatravasa] or under such conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes and the Ordinances.
