About this Act
An Act to assimilate certain laws in force in different parts of the West Godavari District of the Province of Madras.
(1) This Act may be called the West Godavari District
(Assimilation of Laws on Federal Subjects) Act, 1949.
(2) It shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
