About this Act
An Act to make certain provisions for the insurance of certain property in India against damage arising from emergency risks and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Central Government may, by
notification in the Official Gazette, employ or authorise the employment of any person to act as its agent
for the issue of policies and making recommendations for the settlement of claims under the Scheme, and
may pay to the person so employed such remuneration as it may think fit.
