About this Act
An Act to provide for, in the public interest, the acquisition and transfer of the right, title and interest of the undertakings of Messrs. Smith, Stanistreet and Company Limited, Calcutta and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding
anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any instrument
having effect by virtue of any law other than this Act, or in any decree or order of any court, tribunal or
other authority.
