About this Act
An Act to prescribe the mode of valuing certain suits for the purpose of determining the jurisdiction of Courts with respect there to.
This Act may be called the Suits Valuation Act, 1887 1[and it extends2
to the
whole of India except the territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956,
were comprised in Part B States.]
