The Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1971
About this Act
An Act to provide for the proper management of the Sikh Gurdwaras and Gurdwara property in Delhi and for matters connected therewith.
Election of members under clause (a) of section 4 whether for the purpose of initial
constitution of the Committee under section 3, or for filling vacancies arising by efflux of time or a casual
vacancy, shall be conducted by the Director Gurdwara Elections in accordance with the rules made in this
behalf:
Provided that no election shall be held to fill a casual vacancy occurring within four months prior to the holding of a general election under this section
