An Act to amend the law relating to the recovery of Rent in the Presidency of Fort Willian in Bengal.

All sections
    Nothing contained in this Act shall be held to affect the right vested in proprietors of land under direct engagements with Government, of bringing to sale for arrears of rent Putnee Talooks and other similar tenures under the provisions of Regulation VIII. 1819.
