Short title, extent and commencement.

About this Act
An Act to impose a tax on motor vehicles in the Union territory of Delhi and for other matters connected therewith.
(1) This Act may be called the Delhi Motor Vehicles
Taxation Act, 1962.
(2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of Delhi.
(3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the 2[Administrator] may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
