Long Title: An Act to declare the institution known as the National Dairy Development Board in the State of Gujarat to be an institution of national importance and to provide for its incorporation and for the vesting in that body corporate of the undertakings of the Indian Dairy Corporation with a view to provide for the administration and the carrying on of the functions to be performed by the body corporate more effectively throughout the country and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

Section 47: Act to have overriding effect.
    The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in the Companies Act, the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) or any other law for the time being in force or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any law other than this Act, or in any decree or order of any court, tribunal or other authority.
