Long Title: An Act to establish and incorporate a teaching and affiliating University at Amarkantak in the State of Madhya Pradesh to facilitate and promote avenues of higher education and research facilities for the tribal population in India and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 26: The College Development Council.
    (1) The College Development Council shall be responsible for admitting Colleges to the privileges of the University.
     (2) The constitution of the College Development Council, the term of office of its members and its powers and functions shall be prescribed by the Statutes:
     Provided that the College Development Council shall have adequate number of members from amongst the Scheduled Tribes.
