Long Title: An Act to provide for the establishment of the Delhi Urban Art Commission with a view to preserving, developing and maintaining the aesthetic quality of urban and environmental design within Delhi.

Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.
    (1) This Act may be called the Delhi Urban Art Commission Act, 1973.
     (2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of Delhi.
     (3) It shall come into force on such date 1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
