Section 28: Penalty for contravention of order relating to control of price, etc.
    (1) If any person contravenes any order made under section 16, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both; and the property in respect of which the order has been contravened or such part thereof as the Court may deem fit, shall be forfeited to the Central Government.
     (2) Any person who attempts to contravene, or abets the contravention of, any order under section 16 shall be deemed to have contravened that order.
