Long Title: An Act to establish an Academy for furtherance of the advancement of learning and prosecution of research in the field of science and technology in association with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and to declare the institution known as the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, to be an institution of national importance to provide for its incorporation and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 37: Vacancies, etc., not to invalidate acts or proceedings of Board, Academy or any other body.
    No act of the Board or the Academy or any other body set up under this Act or the Statutes, shall be invalid merely by reason of--
         (a) any vacancy in, or defect in the constitution thereof; or
         (b) any defect in the selection, nomination or appointment of a person acting as a member thereof; or
         (c) any irregularity in its procedure not affecting the merits of the case.
