Long Title: An Act to declare Kalakshetra of Madras to be an institution of national importance to provide for the establishment and incorporation of a Foundation for its administration, to make provisions for further development of Kalakshetra in accordance with the aims and objects for which Kalakshetra was founded and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 14: Governing Board to be the supreme authority of Foundation.

(1) The Governing Board shall be the supreme authority of the Foundation and the general superintendence, direction and management of the affairs of the Foundation shall vest in the Governing Board.
(2) The Governing Board shall exercise such powers and discharge such functions as may be prescribed.
