Section 439:
Newspaper in which advertisements or notices to be published.
Whenever it is provided by
this Act or any bye-law made thereunder that notice shall be given by advertisement in local newspapers,
or that a notification or information shall be published in local newspapers, such notice, notification or
information shall be inserted, if practicable, in at least three newspapers in such languages as 1[2[the Corporation]] may from time to time specify in this behalf:
Provided that if 1[2[the Corporation]] publishers a municipal journal, a publication in that journal shall be
deemed to be a publication in a newspaper of the language in which the said journal may be published.
