Long Title: An Act to provide for the protection of wild animals, birds and plants and for matters connected therewith or ancillary or incidental thereto with a view to ensuring the ecological and environmental security of the country.

Section 47: Maintenance of records.
    A licensee under this Chapter shall--
         (a) keep records, and submit such returns of his dealings, as may be prescribed,--
             (i) to the Director or any other officer authorised by him in this behalf, and
             (ii) to the Chief Wild Life Warden or the authorised officer; and
         (b) make such records available on demand for inspection by such officers.
