Act Name: The National Sports University Act, 2018

Long Title: An Act to establish and incorporate a National Sports University in the State of Manipur, a specialised University first of its kind, to promote sports education in the areas of sports sciences, sports technology, sports management and sports coaching besides functioning as the national training centre for select sports disciplines by adopting best international practices and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 17: Authorities of University.
    The following shall be the authorities of the University, namely:—
         (a) the Court;
         (b) the Executive Council;
         (c) the Academic and Activity Council;
         (d) the Board of Sports Studies;
         (e) the Finance Committee;
         (f) such other authorities as may be declared by the Statutes to be the authorities of the University.
